The National Watermelon Promotion Board (NWPB) operates with a single objective: to increase consumer demand for watermelon through promotion, research, and educational programs.

NWPB was using FileMaker server to generate all existing reports on supplier submitted data, which became increasingly difficult to maintain. They were also in the process of updating their existing customer facing website. To accomplish these tasks we decided to move the reporting feature to WordPress. I created a custom extension within WordPress that allows assigning of user roles, custom reporting and creating a portal for accepting ACH payments. The reports are dynamically generated based on filters selected by the client and are available for download as either CSV or PDF. I utilized Gravity Forms to create a supplier submission form which is then used to create a supplier search for people looking for watermelon producers in their region.
