Home Science Tools provides a wide range of science needs to parents and teachers throughout the country to provide a quality hands-on learning experience. As Lead Developer I lead the Irish Titan development team in this Magento rescue project and site upgrade. I edited extensions to ensure they met Magento best practices standards with extensive code cleanup and re-writes. In addition to my cleanup work, I also upgraded the website to the most recent version of Magento Enterprise. During this upgrade process, the client identified a need for a more flexible CMS solution. In collaboration with the Irish Titan development team, I used WordPress to help design a solution with the help of the Fishpig WordPress Integration extension.
