Craft Genesis is the latest venture from the award-winning, employee-owned company behind Embroidery Library and Urban Threads offering thousands of top-quality, artist-created designs for cutting machines and laser cutting.

Craft Genesis had recently moved their existing site into Magento 2 and there were several issues in the checkout flow that was hindering user experience. The main issue was a conflict between the Vertex tax extension provided by Magento and the custom checkout work a previous developer had completed on the site. To improve this experience, I resolved issues with coupons being applied multiple times, fixed issues with tax request limits being hit and the overall calculation of pricing/discounts during the checkout process. With my improvements, customers were able to enjoy a smooth checkout process with accurate pricing.
